About us
Leesman is a private company founded early in 2010 by Tim Oldman with Annie Leeson and Divyang Mistry.
We provide a suite of data capture and audit tools specifically for workplace management and design professions. The majority of our products are delivered electronically via web-interfaces, web-applications and handheld devices, designed to offer rapid deployment and speedy results analysis.
We continually invest in the design and improvement of our tools to ensure that they consistently deliver industry leading response rates, statistically relevant and accurate data to inform strategic projects of almost any size, value or diversity.
Concept
Our concept is simple - to provide a range of unified measurement and audit techniques that provide the workplace management and design industry with a level of open-source information and collective learning not yet experienced.
Three years in concept and six months in detailed development, the Leesman Index is a direct response to the workplace design industry’s growing desire to move toward “Evidence Based Design”, providing workplace managers with an immediate snapshot of their employee’s satisfaction and engagement with the work settings provided for them. This provides each organisation with an almost unique fingerprint or DNA analysis of how their workspaces are performing.
Global Partners
We are working with selected partners to bring Leesman products to an increasing geography. Our first is with Torekov in The Netherlands who will support us locally prior to establishing Leesman Netherlands by the summer. We are actively exploring similar partnerships and Leesman regional companies in Germany, Switzerland, Scandinavia and the US.
If you wish to work with Leesman tools in other countries or are interested in helping us bring Leesman to other territories, please contact us here.
Advisory Board
We are actively recruiting an Advisory Board whose responsibility will be to monitor our research processes and procedures and verify compliance with our own standards and methods of practice. Each Board Member will bring specific practice skills and supervisory expertise. We are delighted to have launched with two extremely well respected and experienced practitioners in their fields.
Chair of the Advisory Board
Philip Vanhoutte | Managing Director Plantronics EMEA.
Digital Asset Security
Julie Berry | Director of IT Reynolds Porter Chamberlain.
We will be actively seeking representation on our Board from the following areas and professional fields – architecture/design, surveying/project management, corporate real estate practices, end user/facilities management and research/academia. If you would be interested in contributing, please contact us here
Corporate Social Responsibility
Protection of the environment in which we live and operate is important to us and we believe that our Index tool helps build sustainable, appropriate and lasting workplaces. Care for the environment is a responsibility we all bear and is an important part of the way in which we do our business.
As a predominantly on-line business, we do not inherently have a high environmental impact but we will take consideration of environmental issues in the professional services we provide and endeavour to reduce or offset our environmental impact wherever possible.
And because we believe that all should benefit from effective work environments, we offer a substantial discounts on our Leesman Index product to Charitable organisations. Please feel free to contact us for further information if this is of interest to your organisation.
We also take our role in supporting charitable organisations outside the office seriously. We choose two charities annually to support - one cancer care and one paediatric care. This year we are pleased once again to be supporting the Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Great Ormond Street Hospital Charities. For details or to join us in one of our activity programmes supporting both organisations, please contact us here
